The Stockholm Nord Region Has Been Awarded as the "Growth Market of the Year"
The Stockholm Nord region has been awarded as the "Growth Market of the Year" by the Swedish magazine Intelligent Logistik for the third time in a row! As YILPORT Nordic, we are proud to contribute to the ongoing success of an ever-growing, important logistics hub in Sweden's largest consumer market.
The Stockholm Nord region grew by 459,000 square meters during 2022 with the largest growth in the last 17 years. The development forecast of the region shows that 333,000 square meters of additional land will be developed during 2023.
After several years of successful operations, YILPORT's intermodal terminal in Rosersberg became called “The National Intermodal Terminal”.
Today, the terminal is served with connections to both the south and west of Sweden, daily trains to Northern Germany, and YILPORT’s own shuttle three days a week to/from Port of Gävle, the largest container terminal on the Swedish east coast. The intermodal terminal in Rosersberg is prepared for longer train sets of the future with four tracks of 750 meters each and two fully electric RMG cranes.
