YILPORT Holding Employees Came Together for the International Coastal Cleanup Day
The International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day is observed on the third Saturday of September. This year, with the support of Deniz Temiz Turmepa organization, YILPORT Holding’s employees participated at Caddesbostan Beach, Istanbul. Ports and terminals are very sea dependent and in as part of YILPORT’s sustainability commitment – the team felt it important to participate in keeping our seas clean and our coastlines pristine in a very small way.
Aside from creating awareness, this was an excellent opportunity to improve camaraderie and foster teambuilding among the representatives from the various Turkish YILPORT entities. A team race was organized where we segregate our employees into different colored teams. The team that collected the most waste by weight will be the winner! This year, the winning group was Team Black.
This event was held under the auspices of Yildirim Group CMO and Executive Director of Garip & Zeycan Foundation; Ms. Zeycan Yildirim who gladly participated in the clean-up as well as gave away the prizes.
