YILPORT Taranto SCCT increases rail traffic and registers the interest of a third rail operator: Medway Italia Srl.
The Railway Company of the MSC Group, active in the railway connections between the main Italian ports and the major logistic nodes of the country, has already operated two trains in the Taranto Terminal: actually, two goods trains of 38 containers each have already departed from the Terminal of Taranto on the route Frosinone towards Civitavecchia.
With the rail operator Medway, the Taranto Terminal is thus re-activating service on the Tyrrhenian route after the activation of Adriatic’s one.
A further Medway train on the Frosinone route is scheduled to depart today with 18 wagons and 39 containers.
