Far East has never been this close to Bursa
Yilport Gemlik New Terminal welcomes a regenerated Far East connection
Yilport has strengthen its position at Gemlik by adding this new service to its new terminal. Both at imports and exports from Far East, Bursa region has a new, cost effective and dynamic way of providing sea freight service.
The Far East lines (YML, ZIM, CMA, MSC, HDS) who had been calling ports in Gemlik region since 2006, have laid off calling Gemlik with their direct Far East services on 2007 and Gemlik region will regenerate these Far East services now again with BEX(Bosphorus Express) service which is connected to OCEAN THREE alliance (renamed as 2CU, CMA CGM/CHINA SHIPPING/UASC).
BEX Service will berth our newest Gemlik terminal and will provide service for only "CMA CGM" container line which is in alliance. Thus, our brand-new terminal will be hosting its customers with a new and important service.
The CMA ships into the BEX service are; DANUBE/ ELBE/ LITANI/ THAMES/ URAL. The importer services will be provided to Southeastern Asia, China and Korea Ports with short transit durations through this service.
The CMA CGM LITANI has berthed Gemlik Terminal at 8 August, 2015 with 10,622 TEUs Capacity and 1458 Reefer plugs. 19 full containers have been discharged and 267 loaded (286 as total) with a successful operation.
