Three New ARTGs Started Operating on June at YILPORT Leixões
As part of the South Container Terminal reconversion works, the last three new ARTGs started operating in Park 4 on June at YILPORT Leixões. This state-of-the-art equipment will initially work by remote control and, at a later stage, semi-automatically, with supervision.
With the entry into operation of this equipment, YILPORT Leixões will provide the South Terminal with greater capacity, efficiency, and agility in cargo handling. As a result, we expect that we will be able to reduce service times for trucks at the Port of Leixões.
