Overview

IBERIAN GATEWAY TO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN

YILPORT Sotagus is a container terminal located upstream in the Tagus River in Lisbon. The terminal is part of the Lisbon port complex, on the north bank of the river. Sotagus is a gateway for the Atlantic Ocean and a touch point to the main center of consumption and industrial production in Portugal. The concession serves mainly shortsea and feeder traffic and specialized services with a mix of containers and breakbulk cargo. By providing excellent conditions for navigation and being located at the confluence of major world trade routes, such as from Europe to the Atlantic Islands, from Europe to Africa, or between Mediterranean and Northern Europe, Sotagus is in a privileged location for these container operations.
