14 wind turbines of the Huascachaca wind farm arrived at YILPORT Puerto Bolívar

The 14 wind turbines of the Huascachaca wind farm, the largest in the country, arrived at YILPORT Puerto Bolívar on January 22.  

The wind turbines set sail from China on December 21, 2021, on Chipolbrok's Taixing ship, which has a maximum capacity of 65,000 tons. 

Each wind turbine has a power of 3,571 megawatts and a weight of 600 tons. 

This is one of the largest and most important projects in the country, and with the start of this wind project, 76,000 tons of CO2 will be reduced annually into the environment, through the production of 130 GW.h of clean and renewable energy. 

YILPORT Puerto Bolivar Operations Director Hugo García presented a commemorative plaque to the vessel's captain.
