8 QC’s with 23 row outreach are Now Operational at YILPORT Gemlik
YILPORT Gemlik terminal started to serve with 8 QCs at its 1,050 m long linear berth with a -17 m draft.
The technical team finished the commissioning of the NEW 4 QC’s as planned. With the new investment of YILPORT Gemlik, the terminal becomes the first and only port to operate a vessel with eight quay cranes simultaneously.
The terminal offers vessels to berth at the optimum time with a pier of over 2 km in total. It has the best turnaround time in the Marmara region with its high productivity achieved with this latest investment. Combined with the yard capacity, it creates the best alternative for transit cargo of the terminal.
This investment which robusts the operational standard, will provide time efficiency with safer operations.
