YILPORT Gävle General Cargo Sets Record for Sawn Timber Containerization
YILPORT Gävle General Cargo has set a new containerization record for sawn timber at their facility. The facility hosts three CFS operations that specialize in handling steel, timber, and paper products. In September 2023, CFS Timber stuffed 917 containers, which included an all-time high of containerizing and de-containerizing 525 containers in a single week.
For September, the total throughput of all three CFS operations was roughly 1,700 containers, bringing the terminal close to breaking the previous record of approximately 2,100 containers set in March 2023.
