YILPORT Leixões – JUL – LOGISTICS SINGLE WINDOW- NAVIS INTEGRATION PROJECT
YILPORT Leixões is the third pilot region for the Janela Única Logística (JUL) project, a digital ecosystem aimed at standardizing procedures in port digitalization across Portuguese ports. The main goal is to provide a single platform for managing and accessing all ports.
JUL facilitates the efficient flow of information and documentation related to international trade and logistics processes, serving as a central hub for government agencies, customs authorities, importers, exporters, shipping agents, and logistics providers to submit, process, and share necessary data and documents.
To ensure a smooth transition, the Port Authority team and the YILPORT Holding TOS Deployment team prepared comprehensive test plans. Twelve operations and integration processes between the JUL and Navis systems were successfully tested at YILPORT Leixões using live operational data. The project is scheduled to go live in September 2024.
