Q2) How did you find your way to YILPORT?
“I wanted to use my Terminal Operating System (TOS) experience I acquired over the years in the Philippines in a more constructive way. When I came across the YILPORT vacancy to be part of the team to set up the TOS in a new port, I knew I had to pursue it! I was flown over and I am proud of my contributions to building the systems at a very early stage.”

“Setting up systems and processes in an innovative manner is a constant work in process. But after the system was running, the focus shifted more towards training and mentoring new people in our Planning Department. It gives me great pleasure to walk into the planning room every morning, see the systems running, and the people giving it their all to provide optimum service levels.”

“I lived and worked in the UK for several years, but wanted to come back to Türkiye. However,… I did want the international environment to continue. YILPORT’s global expansion and cultural mix highly attracted me to join. I haven’t regretted the move for a single day!”

“I started out as an executive assistant to the CEO and was given the opportunity to take on several projects beyond the initial job scope. Today I’m YILPORT Holding's coordinator, juggling the multitude of projects across our portfolio!”

Q2) How did you find your way to YILPORT?
“I used to work in a logistics company, but I needed a more challenging environment. A friend recommended me to join YILPORT as it would build on my previous experience and would allow me to grow personally and professionally. That was 4 years ago!”
Q3) How did you evolve in YILPORT?
“I started out in the Container Freight Station (CFS) where I learned hands-on what the port business is all about. The opportunity came up to switch to quayside operations where I took on increasing responsibilities and became a shift supervisor. Today, I am working in the Business Development Department where I convince existing and new customers to call YILPORT. With my operational background, I know very well what excellence we can provide them!”

Q2) How did you find your way to YILPORT?
“During my university studies, I undertook a two-month internship at YILPORT. I enjoyed it so much I applied immediately after graduating and I guess the feeling was mutual… I started out at YILPORT!”
Q3) How did you evolve in YILPORT?
“I started at the Container Freight Station (CFS) where I remained for over a year. I took this opportunity to learn the CFS and other operations. Gradually I started to communicate with customers about operational needs. Today I link the CFS operations with customer service. I try every day to make a difference to our esteemed customers.”

“The fast pace of YILPORT pushes me to acquire new skills and knowledge almost instantly. Being able to apply my university experience in my job widens my scope and exposure to the industry. At the end of every day, I feel better equipped to tackle the next one!”
